Cardboard Catwalk

In September 2019, MSP joined a collaborative effort between people of lived experience of poverty and/or homelessness, Manchester Metropolitan University and Mustard Tree for the audio and visual event – Cardboard Catwalk. Artwork created as part of previous MSP installations – each showcasing the stories of people’s lived experiences – provided the visual environment for people to take to the catwalk with their cardboard creations in response to the concept of ‘traditions’, a reference to who people used to be, who they are now and their aspirations for the future.
